Legacy Park Community Amphitheater is Complete

ALACHUA, FL

Span Systems completed the design, fabrication and installation of the Community Amphitheater at Legacy Park. This unique, twin-arch design had some challenges - truss-arches required as little site assembly as possible while still allowing for truck transport. the compound-angled baseplate orientation required a great deal of precision in installation.

Using high performance PTFE-coated fabric from Verseidag for this tensile membrane, this efficient, lightweight structure has a covered plan area of 1,975 square feet.

This unique community amphitheater structure will be a venue for community activities, concerts, school events, and will serve as a multi-purpose centerpiece for Legacy Park.
